Well, I met the 'local fur' and it went fairly well. We enjoyed a dinner out; the three of us (Josh included). Then spent a bit of time in conversation before he needed to head home. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

Once home I spent time getting the last of the leaves off the surface of the pool and the filter is now running unfettered so that I can keep the heater going as well. *nods* When I left for work today the pool was at 66 deg. By the time I arrive home it may have reached 70. ^_^

Shaun arrived home safely though he says he was very sad to have to leave. I'm looking forward to seeing him again for Thanksgiving. He's a sweet guy though a bit moody at times. He helped out a great deal while he was staying with us and I really appreciated that.

I had several good chats last night, among them lilcoon77 (Dave) and Hirobowolf. I also had several good words with Frederick. He's such a sweetie really ^_^. I love how he goes from serious to outrageous in the length of a sentence.

Yeah....foot pain. *grimaces*

I can't believe I'm going swimming in November. *laughs quietly to myself* I might keep the pool open as long as I can. I still have that whole tank of propane to use. Could you imagine swimming in the snow?

I still can't believe that Josh's AIM screen name was 'stolen'. I suppose he could try to get it back but I assume the thief, who is known, has changed the password, as perhaps, Josh should have. Though like myself, I assumed this person had some honour.

More updating goodness....

The one thing I like most about work is that I will sometimes get a customer that appreciates the knowledge I bring to my job and goes out of their way to thank me. Makes it almost worthwhile.

I'm not expecting anything overly thrilling at home tonight. Chuck has told us he wants to make supper for everyone and it sounds good to me. I figure that I'll do my housework tonight. Like cleaning the dining room and living room as well as mop the kitchen. That should keep me out of trouble.

Josh has gotten a website and is putting something together. I'll be interested to see how he does. Maybe he can help me get one organized. I'd like that.

I also need to see that the raking is done this fall. It'd be nice to face Spring with a relatively clean slate. This weekend if there isn't a threat of rain I want to empty out the garage and get the crap from the back patio integrated into it before the snow flies. I do NOT want to go through another winter with those books on the back patio. They'd get ruined. -_-
