Suckage

Service sector jobs of any sort tend to suck. But there are especially sucky ones. Those are the ones where you get thrown in with sub-adults whose biggest concern is who will lay them and where the next beer is coming from.

Jobs such as Burger King qualify as these types. Honestly.. I read Astramlunara's LJ and it pissed me off that he'd get treated like that too. I almost wish I could go and give his manager a lecture in 'doing their job'. Grrrr..... I know that in food service they aren't supposed to let anyone who is sick work. Hello!?! It'll likely make everyone they serve sick too!

*exasperated sigh*

I know that Josh tries hard to take his jobs seriously. It seems he ends up dealing with a large dose of asshole though.

It can be like that here too though. Like tonight we are preparing for a district manager visit. And some of us are taking it seriously and others are standing around chatting or whatever. It's a bit frustrating for me and I'm not even a manager!

Anyhow... I have to get back on the floor now that I've taken my meds for the evening. Other than oppresive humidity, things are doing ok.
