This and That

Well... I spennt the better part of Thursaday running mom from doctor to doctor. Her foot is healing but it still has a big hole in the sole. I'm going to have to learn to pack and dress the wound next week.

Thursday night I was feeling a bit out of it and went to bed early. Davey called me to tell me about his graduation and to just chat awhile. It always relaxes me when I can hear his voice.

Yesterday I was up early and had to visit the lawyers. Dropped off more info for the bankruptcy. One piece of disturbing news was that someone had stolen $200.00 from mom's bank account through an on-line transaction. The bank is tracing it and I should know who by Tuesday.

Anyway... after the lawyer I went for a haircut and got home just after noon. I spent the afternoon re-wiring the directv to accomadate the extra three receivers. The new cards for these arrived today and I may get them connected tonight.

Following that I did a bit of work on my train which I always find to be relaxing. I'm going to have to build up an embankment I think. I hope that I'll get to work more onit in the evenings after work.

Speaking of work...a store rep from Kodak asked me today if I'd be interested in being a territory rep for Kodak. Full time job with benefits, pays $16.00 an hour. Think I'll look into it. ^_^

Finally, I hope Davey is in a better mood today. I'll admit I was very worried for him yesterday. I don't like the way his family pushes him. To my way of thinking they have a very skewed sense of what certain concepts mean. Almost as if they were talking about a Holy Knight. Hmmmm.... maybe there's something in that.

Well, back to the grind.
