I spent last evening working downstairs. THe room that I've cleaned out for Josh is finally empty. It's...biggish. At least a decent size bedroom. I also stuffed a bunch of Kim's things back into her room. I'm tired of having all her crap spread out over the back corner of the family room.

I Also went around and vacuumed the downstairs last night. It looks pretty good right now. No kitty hair! I'm a little disappointed that the garage is starting to refill. I guess another dumpster is in order. I suppose that I'll eventually get to the point of having just 'good' things left in the house. Then I'll need to decide what to sell and what to donate.

I got to talk briefly with Davey last night and despite the serious tone of our posts and comments I think we're in a good place. (sounds so '70's ^_^) "are you in your happy place?" I just have to keep working against my natural pessimism. I just don't expect good things to work out for myself.

Other than that I guess things are just ticking along. Mom is doing better and the nurse visits every day to do the wound care. Other than making sure her blood sugar stays in the safe range, I haven't had to do too much for her. She also has a home health aide several days a week to do 'personal' care.

As for my own health, well, I seem to be in good shape other than being fat. My blood sugar is good finally and the EKG was clear too. As for STD's.... none to report so that's a load off my mind.

Well, time to get ready for work. Later this week I'm going to get the supplies to start framing Josh's bedroom. That'll mean a bunch of 2x4's as well as some Romex for wiring new outlets and some piping to extend that outside faucet. Josh is going to sweep out the room later today. Maybe he should burn some incense in there.

Time to wake up Josh...he has work too... ^_^
