Sometimes.... It'd be nice to have a job that allowed for nice days rather than sick days and all you'd need was a note from a good friend telling your boss that you had a freaking good time. *nods* That would be a fun world to live in. Instead, I got to spend my day at Circuit City waiting on customers who refuse to listen to advice. EVEN AFTER THEY ASK FOR IT! *shrugs*

But that's really it, isn't it? People really just want you to confirm their own opinions. 'Hey! Will this camera work thirty feet under water?' *rolls eyes* But I mean... really. The companies that make these things couldn't care less if they keep working. Actually, they HOPE they break. About one day past the warranty. And even when it is within the warranty, you have to get it to them; insured, and pay the return freight too.

Then if it is your fault, which is VERY likely, they tell you that you'll need to cough up anywhere from $150 - $400 to have them fix it.... WITH NO GAURANTEE THAT IT'LL WORK!?! I'm not saying that paid warranties are the cure but it's better to have one than not. At least if you pay us up front, we will probably care when it breaks.

 Anyhow....

Today was yet another beautiful day. Mild, sunny and a nice breeze blowing. Me? Locked in a stuffy store in sight of the front windows.

I went out to dinner with Sam last night. We decided on Mexican and ate at a place called Pancho's. It was about what you'd expect for decor but the food was quite good. Including the sopapilas we shared for dessert. We wanted some time as he was leaving for Mexico today for a vacation with his family. He wasn't really looking forward to it.

Me, I'm not looking forward to him being gone for the week. He'll be home Friday but I doubt I'll see him much before sometime next week. Though I believe this coming Sunday will be the first Stormville fleamarket of the season and I'd like to head down to that. Assuming I may have the day off from work.

Josh did a tremendous amount of housework here today... the house looks much neater after he was done. He also had to put up with Yum Yum being sick. Apparently she'd eaten Easter grass and she eventually harked it up. Ewwwwwwwwwwww! She seems to be doing a lot better now.

As a thank you I took him over to Friendlys for a Sundae. Also got to say hi to George. He's friendly and maybe we'll hang out sometime. Rather than me having to pester him at work all the time. ^_^ Well, that's about all for news. I'm going to get ready for bed.

 *waves to everyone*
