A very long day. >.

 I had to be in Poughkeepsie quite early today and thus had little sleep last night. I was to appear in small claims court against Adams Landscaping. I was a bit stressed and quite tired, but things went fairly quickly. We were put in with a mediator who quickly agreed that I could not have paid the debt even had I desired to since my 'power of attorney' expired with moms death and I was not the executor of the estate.

 The judge dismissed the proceeding and suggested that Adams apply to the executor for payment as they are the ones who can pay. I guess I'm happy and hopefully that ends my court hassles. Anyway, I am quite beat and should head to bed.

  A Saturday at home.... how odd. Well, I guess sleep was alright last night. I've begun to clean out the understairs closet too. I'm planning to make it sort of a computer workspace. Somewhere I can set up a PC and all the stuff for digital photography. I also hope to locate a couple things that I've been missing since the move. Like my back up disks.

  Josh has been off-line awhile now. His computer is 'sick'. I looked into it after he told me what he was experiencing and the only thing I can think is that his OS was corrupted by a virus. *blah* He's trying to work with knopix but he doesn't have a driver for the wireless card so can't get a net connection.

  We went out driving this afternoon and explored the Adirondacks state park. That is some truly awesome scenery up there and so close too. I'm going to enjoy exploring it this summer and the fall should be spectacular! We went north on Rt 30 before coming back down on Rt 10. Rt 10 was the better for scenery and had many parking spaces along the road to let you get out and into the woods.

  Josh and I also had a chance to talk. I think that went well too though I think he's too hard on himself. More that he reaches the right conclusions but for the wrong reasons. At least in my opinion. We are both a bit concerned about the impending arrival of Chris. I'm afraid that Pat will try to dominate him. Or stifle, if you will. We'll see though.

  Just finishing making sausage and peppers for dinner before heading out to see Sam. More later.
