This n that....

  Sometimes life feels like its decided to kick your head in, other days have a brighter scope. *nods* To all of you folk who offered support during our first, difficult month in Schenectady. Thank You! It has helped and is much appreciated. I got my car back last night and I had enough to cover the cost of the repairs. The car looks great and the damage from a previous accident in the same region on the car got fixed along with the damage from this one.

  Once I was home with the car I got the guys together and we went for a celebratory dinner at 'The Ground Round'. It was 2 for 1 burger night and saved us a bit on the costs of a night out. From there a quick stop at Lowe's to pick up a couple things for the apartment and to look at window blinds. I'm tired of having to worry if a neighbor is going to be peering in when I stumble to the bathroom in the morning. (happened last weekend)

  During this difficult month there have been a few extremely hurtful and negative comments posted. It saddens me to know that there are people in the world who rejoice at the pain of others. I certainly hope they never have to experience the same grief that we have.

  I've been trying to talk to my friend Matt these past couple days because he's one of the few that I can call at all the odd hours of the night, but he's been avoiding me.*grimace* He and I don't always see 'eye to eye' but I thought I could count on him to be there.
