Jan. 3rd, 2005 08:05 pmJust sitting here on a break and taking my pain killers. *sighs* It's a horrid day out as the rest of the week looks to be the same. I here that I may be driving into the teeth of a winter storm on Wednesday when I planned to visit Matt. I'll try, but I hate winter driving.
I had a long talk with Matt last night about relationships and expectations and I think we understand each other better now. I Love Davey but I'm also coming to appreciate Matt and Sam. (no particular order) I've been making a lot of changes in my life these past couple of months and some of them are bearing fruit finally.
I've spoken with a couple of lawyers today, or their offices. Mostly to tell them they are 'out of luck' in trying to get money from the estate. LOL I also talked to Bob Dietz, my lawyer, I meet with him Monday to discuss becoming executor of the estate and thus getting some money that way. He seemed to think it sounded good.
Back at the house things are slowly fitting into boxes and getting stacked for the move. I'm also giving some thought to what furniture I want to bring and what will have to be stored. I also need to take up the garden railway track and get that packed away. I have too much invested in it.
Well, one more day of work then I hit the road. I really hope that Sam gives me a call tonight or tomorrow or at least sometime soon. ^_^
