Another day in paradise...

Today was spent participating in the legal system of this fine country. I had jury duty. LOL. I'm safe for six more years.

I'm feeling rather *blah* about things at the moment and I'm sure it is mostly to do with the weather...which is wretched. There's been entirely too much drama this week and I'm left feeling.... worn out by it. I thought long and hard about how I wanted to respond to things and I've decided that I will let it lie.

I do want to say this though... to my friends and aquantainces. An ugly truth is better than a beautiful lie. I strive to speak honestly with each and every one of you. I don't like drama with the 'he said he said' going on. *shakes head sadly*

I also don't want anyone having to change relationships to suit me. I won't ask that. I accept people on their own merrits, not by who they know. Be honest, be respectful, be kind... that's all I think anyone can ask. No?

*shakes head again*

I don't want this to become a forum for mud slinging and if it threatens to become so, I will have to restrict to a 'friends only' base.
