I heard from a local funeral home that they had been contacted by social services to provide a cremation for mom and could I please come in and sign the papers. Partly I feel relief at the news as I was dreading what would happen to moms remains. But I find I'm also mad. That they let this go nearly a month when they knew I had no resources!?

On my last day off I managed to get several jobs crossed off my 'to do' list. It's a long way from finished but just a bit shorter now. ^_^
In the domestic arena; Mango asked Kim to marry him and as he'd jerked her around the past seven months, she said 'no'. Not surprising really. She's been dating Chris for about six weeks now and they are quite a good couple.
Thursday night he joined us for dinner and we had BBQ spare ribs done out on the grill. That was well received and he brought a cake for our dessert. mmmmmmmmmmm..... CHOCOLATE! After dinner was cleared away we sat down and played Trivial Pursuits. It was an OK game though I dread orange questions now. Around midnight we stopped playing. I think we were mostly tied.... mostly. ^_^
The biggest worry I have is still to do with the home financing. I have to begin to actively persue that or we'll find ourselves booted. I'm also actively looking for a new job with higher pay. I'd love to score about $30 an hour but $20 is almost a must have. We'll see how things go.
Josh introduced me to www.pounced.org . A pretty cool sight for meeting other furs. He's made a bunch of local acquaintances and is pretty pleased.
