A busy week
Aug. 3rd, 2004 01:01 pmYeah... that's a good point to start from. One of my kitties has decided that sitting on the printer/scanner is the best place to keep an eye on me. She's giving herself a bath. ^_^ She had a 'lion' fur cut about two weeks ago and she still looks.....odd.
I've been avoiding yard work during this current tropical weather spell. Lawn mowing sucks when it feels like you are swimming rather than walking.
I've been thinking about upgrading my LJ account to paid. I think this is a cool service and next month they plan to add photo hosting so that would be cool.
I met a new friend yesterday, a local guy who goes by the name 'Grizz'. Looking forward to meeting him. He told me about a local convention that might be fun to attend. Josh seems to think so too. I placed a general contact comment on his LJ, I'd like to meet a few of the other locals. Can always use new friends. ^_^
I got to chat briefly to Davey yesterday. He's indefinitely grounded again. *growls* God! He gets treated like he's 10! *shakes head* Anyhow, I have to send a few things to him soon. He left a bunch of stuff behind due to space limits on the plane.
I still don't like the feeling of uncertainty that he left here with. I'd have preferred a time table or something, but I don't think I'll get that. I know that I need to have faith in him and what he tells me, however, since his father exercises so much control over his life and his well being, it's hard to develop that sense of faith.
Since we also left with a 'coldness' between us, it's hard in that way too. I really was very distraught over the way our last three visits went. I think a lot of that was due to the stress he had to go through. I hope that's it.
Ah well. Time will tell. I Love Davey but I won't let myself be used or abused by him.
