I'm leaving...on a jet train.....

LOL...well, not really. But who knows? NYC tomorrow is still looking good.

A couple things have been getting to me I guess. Last night was...weird. A pretty normal work night but once I was home I felt disconnected. Like I didn't really have any direction.

My grandmother would have called it, "being at loose ends." Accurate.... So I went to bed and just fussed around with Josh. He's taken to planting his ice cold feet against my back as soon as I try to go to sleep. ^_^

While I can smile about it now, when it happens I'm usually screaming. I didn't do much after work except grocery shopping and I think I'll need to go again.

I see that Davey responded to my post about schooling. ^_^ In the local school disctrict classes are still 50 minutes and there are 8 periods in a day. Also, as far as I could tell, there are no opt outs for Phys. ed. Things like health are part of human studies. *nods* I also think they discontinued the drivers ed. due to insurance costs.

Anyway...... I'm still working on getting a home health aide for mom. The one she had before would be cool because they developed a friendship. If the costs aren't too high I'll try to hire her privately.

I think we're going to hire the guy who redid the venting on the pool furnace to come and open the pool this year. The thought of all those damn leaves is daunting. For two years the pool was uncovered and in neither of those years were we able to get all the leaves out of the deep end.

I WANT TO SWIM THIS YEAR! I need the exercise. ^_^
