Our beloved upstairs neighbor, Pebbles, just received a visit from Child Protective Services. It seems that on a recent visit home to her mom's she was observed abusing one of her kids. The nice men from CPS rang our bell looking for her and when I asked what it was about I was politely told to mind my own business. I said that if it were about her children then they might want to talk to us as well. Personally, I've heard her threats and some things that make me think she might act on them. Josh and the guys have heard a lot more though. I hope her kids get help.

Secondly, I heard something on the radio that relates to Josh' post about paying for faith. In N.J. they now accept credit and debit cards for the tithe in church. So now you can get your faith on the installment plan with low, low, rates.

Finally, we have the apartment keys and all of us went over to look by flashlight last night, as there is no power there. That will probably be the first step as we begin to move in. While it is a bit dirty at the moment, it is a nicer apartment. I'm hoping we can get settled there for awhile and not like Josh fears have to continue the Odyssey. I want 'roots'.

*hugs everyone*
