(no subject)

  Sticker shock doesn't even begin to cover the feeling at looking at the reality of $3.31 a gallon, which is the high for yesterday. Where will it go today? They've been hinting at $3.70. *sighs*

 In other news, I believe we've found a place to move in to. I was in a rush yesterday to meet with the landlord, look in the apartment and give him money. I'm supposed to get the full lease and probably the keys at 2 p.m. Friday. Once the keys are in hand I'll breathe a bit easier. The place is in better repair than the apartment we are in now and is twice the size. It'll be nice to spread out a bit and relax.

 I'd planned to travel for Labor Day weekend to visit Ian in Georgie, but he cancelled those plans on Monday. I was disappointed to say the least. I'd been looking forward to meeting him and getting to know him a lot better. *shrugs* I have to call today and arrange a refund of my airfare. I can't waste resources for no good reason after all.

 Not too much else to report on really. Work at The Depot continues to go well and I even earned 'Employee of The Month' in their new recognition program. I'm told it was unanimous. ^_^
 
 Seems Ian has been making 'friends' all over the net lately.  >.<
