Indeed, a long overdue post. Mostly, these past few weeks I've been running on the ragged edge. There have, of course, been bright spots. Like getting to meet Josh from Oswego. And there have been dark patches, like when Josh from here ^_^ put his hand through his bedroom window while trying to open it. >.<
Drama has continued to dog my steps this last month as well. I'd been hoping that a friend of mine, who goes by the name Silver, had been finally able to put his connection with the now infamous Divefox, well and truly behind him. Just as I thought it safe to possibly arrange a visit by him, Divefox re-entered his life and it seemed like we were back to square one.
Divefox continues his transcontinental wandering as more and more often he finds his welcome evaporating before he can even unpack. The sad truth is is that he has poisoned so many lives by his actions that it becomes harder to forgive or to even offer the benefit of a doubt. He scares me in ways that I can't fully appreciate. I think he's on the path to being a real threat to people.
I've also come to a decision as regards Silver because of all this. This and the results of a conversation he participated in with Josh last week. The decision is that I don't wish at this time to have anything further to do with him or the other Dayton, Ohio area furries. It's just not worth the drama.
Last weekend I drove up to Oswego to meet a very nice guy named Josh. He'd moved out here from Denver and had contacted me through a search site. I want to say first that I found him to be charming and an all around fun person to be with and that I hope he felt similiarly. I'm definitely hoping to get to see him again in the near future.
I took him out to dinner and he chose a Chinese buffet. After that we walked all around the city seeing some of the cooler things there. Like the footbridge over the old Erie canal and the Imagination park with the huge climbing castle. After many fun hours of walking, sitting, laying and chatting, we made our way back to his apartment where we got comfy and watched 'Flight of the Phoenix'. Before I had to go to bed.
*break time is over, back to work*
