Back at it...
Feb. 8th, 2005 06:49 pmBack in action on the web. Hi-speed was installed this morning at the ungodly hour of eight. But it's done and paid for, so one less thing to worry about. I really exercised some self discipline and got a lot of the house set up over the past couple of days. The biggest help was getting the shelves put back together and the books out of their boxes.
My God... I never really saw all my books together in one place before. I'm particulary pleased by the size of my Charles De Lint and Terry Pratchett collections. ^_^ Both excellent authors if any body wants a good read. I also got a shelf set up in the bathroom. Another big help since there wasn't any storage in there to speak of.
I still need to put up shelves in Joshs' and my rooms. Again, storage is at a premium and anything will be a plus. I'm not sure what to do about Patricks room but he doesn't even have a closet so I'll have to do something.
I went for an interview today at RentWay. It went very well for me and I go back for round two on Friday. I have to take a basic aptitude test then schedule a drug test if I pass that. The biggest bonus is that there'd be a clear track for advancement and I'd have a steady work schedule finally. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. most days and Sundays always off. ^_^ There'd also be bonuses and overtime on a regular basis. Not too shabby.
