Satureday was a mix of things. First was the horror of driving in bad weather with folks who thought that they knew how. Judging by the number of accidents / assholes, I'd have to say they were wrong! I got a bit woried when I saw the SUV on it's roof against the guard rail.

After running an errand in Catskill, I went the rest of the way to Albany to visit with Sam. ^_^ The planned trip out to Michigan was a bust. Not anyones fault really, but Matts' grandmother passed away. Then there was this pain in the ass storm to deal with. It ended up stranding Patrick at home and Josh with me in Albany.

So, we decided that a day at Crossgates Mall was called for as the weather was so crappy. After chatting politely for a minute with Sam's mom and promising to have him home by 10.30 p.m. we set out. The drive was marginally better and it took about twenty minutes to get there.

We went in through Best Buy and I suggested we have lunch at Pizzeria Uno. He has no problem with public affection so we walked hand in hand into the restaurant and turned a few heads. ^_^ Shock the monkeys! After lunch we decided to do a tour of the mall before catching a movie.

The movie we chose was 'Finding Neverland'. It seemed the best of slim pickings as I've seen many of the films currently in release. I'm glad we chose to see it because it turned out to be an excellent movie. The story was about the making of J.M Barrie's 'Peter Pan'. The events that influenced it's writing. It was very cool.

After the movie we finished cruising the mall and enjoyed looking in a variety of stores.... art prints, pets, stuff like that. I think Sam would like to have a dog. Eventually it was time to head home and I dropped Sam off a bit before his curfew.

I headed home myself after that and got in at midnight. I was up awhile after that. Josh asked me to make him dinner and then Matt called, so I chatted to him awhile. Finally as I was getting ready to go to bed, Josh returned and plunked himself down to play guitar.

He stayed another hour or so before I finally turned everything off and went to bed.
