RESPONSIBILITIES SUCK!

The best way to start the day is not to get served. Unfortunately I don't mean a restaurant. Yeah... it was 8:45 a.m. and this guy starts banging on the door. Seems the primary mortgage company wants the account brought current....NOW! It's something like 10,000.00 *sighs*

So I waited a little bit and did the next most reasonable thing and contacted a bankruptcy lawyer. I'm sick and tired of being hoiunded for the debts that dad ran up. I had a meeting with him this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

Before that though I spent the morning running around assembling paperwork as well as dropping off some payments to various companies to get the months bills out of the way so they won't keep pestering. *shakes head* What a pain in the ass.

I got those wrapped up 45 minutes before the meeting and headed on over.

Oh yeah ^_^ a bright spot was that Asty made us breakfast. It was really quite good too. Eggs, potato, onion and chorizo suasage. Mmmmmmmmmmm....

So I met with the lawyer and he goes over a bunch of options and says I should probably file too. So what he said is that it might be doable. But that we are in a 'between' situation. Too much equity in the house and not enough verifiable income.

A loan officer from the bank said something similiar too. *sighs* It's not a disaster but looks like barring a miracle that it'll be a rough year here again. The best bet would be for mom to qualify for Ch. 7 bankruptcy and when that is discharged to turn around and file Ch. 13. That would get rid of all her unsecured debt and then give us 5 years to square away her mortgage and such. Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

After the meeting I ran over to a florist to see if they had Lily of the Valley. Mom said she'd always wanted a bouqet of it and had never gotten it. For $125.00 I don't think it'll be happening soon either. *sighs* I got her a mixed bouqet that has some in it. I hope it makes her happy.

Once I got home it was time to run Asty up to Alexs for the weekend. He seems to be really intent on their relationship. I'm glad of that. I think they'd do well together. On the way back from there I stopped in New Paltz to get a Greek dinner for mom. I had to park 6 blocks from the restaurant and it took 30 minutes for them to make the food.

I dropped that off around 7 p.m. before getting my own dinner. After dinner I ran out to Adams but they'd locked the doors about ten minutes early. A wasted trip. *sighs* So, now I'm home and I finally get a moment to rest. In a few minutes I have to get mom's bandages changed. After that I'll go out and clean up the back porch. I think the leaves have dried out enough.

I'd hoped to do a bit outside on my train but that just didn't happen today. Asty really helped a lot today. He cleaned up most of the front porch and he finished cutting the grass too. Like I said, a very big help.

I also heard from Target today. Looks like I won't be working there. They decided to go with the other applicant. -_- So I guess I'll work as hard as I can to get into the manager/lead position with circuit city. That's my best hope I think.

Personally, I hope Davey is doing OK. I thought he was acting a bit overstressed when we talked last night. Sort of only 80% there. I'm sure he is going through his own stress as the year wraps up for him and graduation looms closer. I Love him sooo much. *smiles gently*
