Yeah... definitely crap. Mom just broke her lift chair. That just sucks so much. She relies on it to get her up and down. I'm going to try and fix it but I dont know if I can. I certainly can't afford a replacement for it.

She also wants me to get her a new bed. I think she must believe that I'm made of money. Most months it's a tight proposition. Aaron said he's gonna look into getting a 'poor risk' loan for me. That might help.

I'm still waiting to hear from Target. Beginning to think they don't have a place for me. *sighs* I'd really enjoy working for them too. *still hopes* Everyone think hopeful thoughts for me, ok?

Anyway, I'm getting kinda excited about resurrecting my train. I think I've solved most of the engineering problems and now I have to solve the financial ones. Maybe I should put up a paypal link and ask for donations? That might work! I've heard that others have done it. Like a fund drive? This is my story....HELP!! ^_^

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

G'night

*hugs everyone*

Some mornings are really good. Like today. The weather is sunny and cool and a breeze is blowing. So, a nice day ahead I hope.

I stayed up pretty late last night. I began chatting to this guy named Andrew that Josh introduced me to. He seems nice enough if a bit 'young'. Not really too mature, ya know? He's from California too. So maybe that explains it. We got to talking about White Castle burgers. Personally, I think they suck! ^_^

Mom had a fit last night when I wanted Josh to practice changing her dressing. He was totally willing and she was just mean to him. He eventually left and I went ahead and did it myself. I can't be the only one to take care of her.

*shakes head*

Anyway, I guess that's enough for a supplemental rant. I have to try and fix her chair today so it doesn't dump her ass on the floor. Three of the four bolts that secure it have broken. I'll have to remove the last one and see if I can refit all of them. Wish me luck!

Merf... It's almost 8.30 pm and my feet are killing me. I'm at work and just sat down to take some Percoset. (sp.) Anyway.. they'll kick in in a bit and things will be better.

Compared to yesterday time is flying right along. I tok a bit of time this afternoon to do a detailed sketch for part of the railroad. It looks do-able but likely to cost about $200. I can't really manage that at the moment. I will store the drawings away as I think they are quite good.

Beyond that I guess I'm gonna finish cleaning the dining room/ living room tonight and watch the new DVD; The Triplets of Belleville. It's supposed to be REALLY good. I als o have Big Fish to watch. Mom wants to see that too.

This week I'm going to scurry like hell to get a bunch of small projects finished. I want the main parts of the upstairs to be really clean and tidy for a change. Downstairs would be nice too but we'll wait and see how it goes. I want to get the planter in the living room going again as well as the small fountain in the dining room by the window. Both will brighten up the house so much.

I'm planning to do mom's room during my vacation that starts in 8 days. I guess I'll be really busy by then. I also really want to get something done with the train, the pool, the pond and the back porch/patio. Whew! Lot's to do!!

*Hugs everyone*
