Wowness....
Jan. 5th, 2004 12:56 amWell, wow. It's been a busy few days. Not so much work busy or home busy, but socially busy. I'll get to that in a few minutes. First, I've been talking with Alex and I think he's a great guy. However, he does have to get past some tough obstacles if he's going to ever be happy. I hope he lets me be there for him.
Second, I got to spend time with James. He's a pretty sweet guy himself. We went to Outback Steakhouse and had a good chat and a nice late snack. I learnt what commitment is about. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't misplaced. Here's a sweet guy that seems to do anything for anyone and he gets an abusive asshole as a bf. From what I can tell there isn't really much of a relationship anymore. More like his bf is just seeking to control him in any way possible.
Hmmmm...what else... yeah. I met Jon on-line finally. After a little misunderstanding we got onto a better footing. Jon was referred to me through Will of all folks. Anyhow, Jon is 17 about to turn 18 and he's getting near the end of something called jobcorps. Once he's done he's going to be cut loose into the world. It seems his folks don't really have much of a place for him in their lives so I think he'll be landing here. He's gay so will fit in on those grounds. He seems like he's had a lot of disappointments in his life. Like he's given up trying. he says he's a bit of a hermit and doesn't see the point of trying anymore. Hopefully we'll change that for him. He says he'll likely stay at least four years. Plenty of time to get to know him and get him better socialized maybe.
Lets see.... I also met another interesting guy called dannfur.. LOL... he a furry. Fox. Sweetness. He's another that I'd like to see move in here. He'll be 18 soon and when he gets out of school this Spring he may move up here. That'd be nice. He's really sweet on Alex which is also soooo cute. ^_^ Anyway, we really clicked too and I think I've made another good friend. Making friends really cheers me up. That some of these guys may live here is sooo neat.
I called and spoke with JOn briefly tonight. He was still on his way back to job corps but we spoke for about ten minutes. That was cool. His voice was a bit more timourous than I thought it would be, He comes across as very confident on-line and I thought that would probably carry across to in person. I don't think he's a furry but he does like anime and video games; especially FF. I think of all of us he's the most likely to revitalize the greenhouse. ^_^
What else? Yeah! I've been talking to Asty quite a bit too. He's ...well... I dunno really. Not miserable but not happy. I told him he could move back but I don't think he'll move back here. I just hope he gets the strength to stand up on his own instead of waiting for things to happen. Asty? *hugs* ^_^
Lets see what else has happened? Umm... Aaron bought his first business suit today. That was sorta cool. I fell asleep while he shopped though. Clothes..... *yawns*
I guess that about brings things up to date from this end. I'll see you all real soon. And Soro, I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!
