Gone away

Josh is off travelling this next week or so. At first I thought he'd be moving permanently. But at the last moment he told me that he'd be staying here in NY. I thought that was great news. I really want him in my life and whether as a friend or as a boyfriend, I'll take what he's willing to give. The trip that he took was a bit disorganized. He left from Newark but his first flight was cancelled. The next flight sat on the runway for three hours and resulted in him not getting to Texas until almost midnight. It was midday the next day before he reached his destination.

I miss him.

Yesterday I had to climb to the roof and clean out the gutters for about the sixth time in a year. It's a task that sucks. However I'm hoping that I can get the backer boards replaced since they are allowing water in under the roof. I'm also hoping that I can get 'gutter caps' to prevent the gutters from clogging. So many things need to be fixed here. from water damaged ceilings to rotten back stairs.

Today was fairly constructive. I went to DMV to get the registration transfered on our van. Ordered an ATM/Visa card. Shopped for new car insurance to get a better rate. And I'm about to pick up a new toilet seat.

Oooops! Gotta go pick my niece up from work. Later! *waves*
